SAUNDERSFOOT BEACH

SUP LESSONS

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is great fun! Here at Saundersfoot, we love trying new activities and are proud to be one of the first companies on Saundersfoot beach to teach paddle boarding lessons and guided tours. Saundersfoot is a great place to learn to stand up paddleboard and we have some great locations to take you paddling. Our intro to Stand Up Paddleboarding lessons will get you started and then you can book on to one of our amazing paddleboarding tours where we can introduce you to some amazing places around Pembrokeshire Coast.

  • WHAT’S INCLUDED?
We provide quality wetsuits to keep you nice and comfortable. We have an excellent range of SUP boards for all different sizes and ages.
  • WHERE DO WE MEET?
You'll find us on Saundersfoot Harbour at the Marine Centre of Excellence, where one of our friendly team will meet you around 30 minutes before the lesson is due to start.
  • HOW LONG IS THE SESSION?
All sessions are 2 hours including your safety talk. We ask that you check in 30 minutes before your session start time so we can kit you out.
  • WHAT TIME DO THE SESSIONS START?
This varies depending on tide times, our Saundersfoot Paddle Boarding tours run around 2 hours before and 2 hours after high tide as this provides incredible up close views of the coastline and shelter from the wind. Please leave us a note when booking if you would like a morning or afternoon lesson and we will do our best to work with the tides to arrange your lesson.
  • WHAT IS THE MIN AGE?
We recommend a min age of 10 yrs old because SUP boards are larger than your average surfboard and challenging for younger to children to move around. For family private lessons please contact us if you have children younger than 10.
  • IS IT SAFE?
Our instructors are all fully qualified ISA stand-up paddle boarding coaches and SLSGB Beach Lifeguards who will run you through the first stages of learning how to paddle board in Pembrokeshire. They will introduce you to the equipment, how to use it effectively. Safety is a big factor, and you will be shown good awareness of your surroundings, whilst at the same time, we can guarantee you will have a great time at some of the most beautiful beaches and coastlines in Pembrokeshire.
